Heat Stamping
Burning the motif into the wood using a heated metal plate. Heat stamping has a long tradition in personalization, especially for wine crates. The personalization of cake boxes is also largely implemented by heat stamping, as this is an elegant and inexpensive type of printing. This traditional printing variant gives your product packaging or your promotional gift that special something. The raised logo is burned into the wood at high temperature and pressure with the help of a metal cliché custom-made for you. In addition to the typical dark brown color, this branding also results in an elegant feel. One-time tool costs, which vary according to the actual size of the logo, have to be paid.
Silk screen print
Screen printing is a widespread printing process in which a special color is applied to the wood through a fine-meshed net. Due to the possibility of combining several moulds, multicolored prints can also be realised. In contrast to heat stamping, this personalization option also allows printing on stained and varnished wooden boxes. There are one-off tool costs for creating the template / mould.
Laser engraving
This modern and innovative printing technique uses a computer-controlled laser head to engrave exactly according to your ideas directly into the surface of the wooden box. The laser engraving impresses with very fine lines, as well as the possibility of printing very detailed motifs. There are no tool costs, but the unit costs are higher than with screen and fire printing.
Digital print
If the technical possibilities of screen printing are not sufficient for the design of your wooden box (higher number of colours), almost any graphic design can be implemented with digital printing. For this purpose, large-format wooden panels are printed before they are cut. Although digital printing does not require any tools, it is the most expensive in terms of unit price, but is suitable, for example, for special editions of wine boxes and cake boxes.
